Keyboard glitch/stick

I have confirmed I don't have duplicate events or mismatched keys, I've tried mapping the "c" key on my keyboard to other buttons, to no avail:
Everytime I press the "c" key, my character will freeze into whatever action was happening at the time, this is the same for multiple games. To stop this, I hit ESC, then click "start" next to the .xml in the gui program, then move/touch any key, and my character is back to normal... until I accidentally hit the "c" key and my dude starts to spaz out...
