Could you make some icons ? I would like see sixemugui with icon on menu ^^

I don't know what size it should be and the file format.

Im using it right now, trying to take some SS
The icon should be another color, because the dash on ubuntu is black too, so the icon is only visible on mouse over.


Edit: Can't take an dash board SS but i have this one.

I'm using now ubuntu 11.10 beta1, there dash board is more bright, so the black icon can be viewed, anyway i'm using both icons.
Now i can take SS of the dash board, take a look.



To change shortcut and put some icons go to:

Code: Select all

/usr/share/applications

as root:

Code: Select all

sudo nautilus

and search for sixemu, right click and choose Properties

My opinion:
- the gamepad is too big / icons are not different enough
- wrong arrow direction
- I'm not sure the mouse & kb icons are a good choice, as the app also supports other game controllers...

We need 4 icons for the next release:

• gimx-bluetooth - previously named sixemugui, the linux bluetooth GIMX version
• gimx-serial - previously named sixemugui-serial, the windows+linux usb GIMX version
• gimx-config - previously named sixemuconf, the general configuration app
• gimx-fpsconfig - the new configuration app, designed for fps games

I've also been toying with GIMX wallpapers lately that I thought I'd place on the desktop while doing videos of GIMX in action, configuration & calibration video tutorial, etc.
